Things Considered

Wallace Stevens once said
Money is a kind of poetry,
and
an updating of that statement today seems to be
Computer code is a kind of poetry too
And while I disagreed with Stevens' statement,
and likewise disagree with the current statements,
I realize that such things are matters of style,
and matters of style should never be considered moral issues
But there seems to be a too-strenuous defense of process only,
as opposed to including process as a part of the poem
Process only is masturbation,
and while I'm in favor of masturbation,
I don't want to watch anybody else mastrubate
any more than I want anyone to watch me
Though the prevalence of porn probably proves
that I'm in the minority here as elsewhere
