John Turi has been writing for necessity since the age of sixteen, which would be twenty-odd years ago. Starting with poetry to entice the young ladies, Turi moved onto short stories and has completed two novels and three screenplays. Turi lives in Southern California with his wife (also a poet; Shawn-Marie), three cats and two dogs. Having worked for a legendary corporation; with the letters [C.I.A.] in their title; that now have his information classified and have no knowledge of his employment, Turi now sits at home drinking absinthe (smuggled in from Spain) and argues with the ghosts of his past as he waits for his next assignment.
