Nika Cavat is a veteran English and film teacher at a private school in Santa Monica, CA. Her poetry, short fiction, and critical essays have appeared on-line and in publications nationally, including two stories, "Translations" and "Pregnant With Possibility" in poeticdiversity and her poem, "Let Slip the Slip", in the Oberon Review. Italian-born of American ex-patriot parents, Nika has also worked in documentary, feature film, and television in a variety of capacities. She makes her home in Venice Beach with her daughter, Aurora.
