bio

art by paradoxius

Born and raised in Flushing NYC, NY, moved to the tropics in 2003 for personal reasons, a student of life, a child of the universe, a free spirit, wandered to places such as Rome, Pompeii, Naples, Capri, London, and other places where wanderlust has lead me. Family is my all, my past, present and future, along with my writing, and thirst for knowledge of the sacred and unknown, a dreamer and doer, and lover of life, living peacefully in the land of constant summer.

Down the Lane

Golden sunlight flickers
on the leaves.
Orange path that leads me....
Where
The river bends
to meet the trees
Somewhere off in the distance.
...
I hurry to find a field
that awaits me
with open arms.
Flowers to embrace me
A mountain side to protect me
and shield me from all harm.

Back along the lane I travel
Hurry home to rest and smile
Wile away the evening hours
Beneath a starry sky.

I sleep and dream of somewhere past
A life so simple, days that last
Memories or dreams of peace
Stay with me always
Mine to keep
Forever.
