    Larry Jaffe is the International Readings Coordinator for the United Nations Dialogue among Civilizations Through Poetry project and Co-Founder of Poets for Peace. He has five poetry collections and his work has been translated into many languages, including Spanish, Italian, Russian, Czech, Romanian, Hebrew, and Japanese.

   

 

fissures

fractured fingers

in moonlight

no longer

express love

in long hand

roaming gypsies

resort to code

in confidence

of number

a secret tryst

devours self

–laughs

in redundancy

to make up

for past

shortages…



now this is

something

he would

remember.
