Massada

By night
From the stone
Metallic the blood
In my dreams

Ci Vediamo

People
babbling fishes
in the brookbed of lanes
and I
by the fire
with a cat that
snores and one that
eyes me inquisitively because
I am packing my bags and
dig my nose deeper into
the fur of her neck
and I have written some letters
placed some words
moved some pieces of furniture
and under the inspecting eye of my
cat I smile bravely and pretend to
stay here
forever
