"I'm Elliott, a high school student who always thought of himself as a subpar writer. However, this semester I was asked to write an ungraded poem, yet read aloud to the class. While writing, I wrote everything I felt or wondered about, including love, death, and success. I created the poem, "Success" accidentally, because in actuality, I was writing questions I had for myself. The questions that are not answered through schooling, but rather realized in life experience. What is most interesting about "Success" is that it can be recognized differently by everyone, and thus the poem is unique to everyone."
