Born and bred in New York City, Gary Maggio resides and writes in Albany, NY. Mostly retired, he does work part-time as a "standardized patient/actor" at Albany Medical College. His poems have appeared in the Notre Dame Review, New Orleans Review, Bryant Literary Review, Re/verb, South Carolina Review, and California Quarterly. Recently he's had work in Germ, The Laughing Dog, Literary Bohemian, and New York Dreaming, and will soon be published in Linden Avenue Review and Avatar Review.
