| "I grew up overseas (Africa, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Nepal). My father works for the U.N. I came to L.A. when I was 19 and attended Loyola Marymount University. Later, I worked for the Lannan Foundation for five years as the production coordinator of their reading series. When Lannan moved to New Mexico I decided to stay in L.A. and trained to be a Doula (childbirth educator / birth and postpartum attendant). I have attended over 70 births. I am married and have a 20 month-old son. Cheers."
