| Wendy Bourke resides in metro Vancouver, BC. After a life loving words and scribbling poetry lines on pizza boxes and used envelopes, she finally got down to writing "in earnest" and five years ago, began posting poetry regularly on her poetry blog along with photographs she has taken tromping over the hills and dales of British Columbia. Recently, she began submitting poems for publication. Her work has appeared in several Canadian poetry anthologies, as well as online in Shot Glass Journal (Muse-Pie Press), hedgerow: a journal of small poems (UK) and The Voices Project: Empowering Women Through Self-Expression.
