Laura Golden Bellotti is a writer and developmental book editor living in Los Angeles. Her poems won Honorable Mention in the National League of American Pen Women, San Francisco Branch, Poetry Competition, and her poetry has appeared in Poetic Medicine, by John Fox (Tarcher/Putnam) and Essential Love, edited by Ginny Lowe Connors (Poetworks/Grayson Books), as well as in a number of literary journals, including New Millennium Writings; CQ: California State Poetry Society Quarterly; Liberty Hill Poetry Review; Coracle Poetry; and Work: a Literary Journal. Her recent chapbook is entitled Angeleno Birch Tree Girl in the Land of Glare.
Ms. Bellotti is the co-author of four nonfiction books: Latina Power! (Simon & Schuster, 2003); Dr. Ana Nogales' Book of Love, Sex and Relationships: A Guide for Latino Couples (Broadway Books/Bantam-Doubleday-Dell, 1998-99); Creative Weddings (Plume/Penguin, 1994); and You Can't Hurry Love (Dutton/Penguin, 1992). She was the developmental editor of the best-selling Women Who Love Too Much and has since edited numerous nonfiction books in the areas of creativity, psychology, relationships, women's issues, parenting, and health.
The Holy Triangle: Stories of Pico-Robertson is Ms. Bellotti's first collection of short stories.
